Stop the Boycott has published an addendum to the joint legal Opinion on UCU motion 25. This takes into account new text in the final UCU conference order paper that did not appear in the initial motions document.
Commenting on Motion 57 "Rule change: aims and objects", Messrs Beloff and Saini QC have written:
"Our view is that the proposed amendments make no difference. They do nothing to mandate or authorise the positive actions which the Motion contemplates."
